A philosophy consists of:
Major objective (the things that you value)
Your beliefs or principles that help you achieve your objectives
Your developing principles are tested when you are in a situation when your unsure of how to respond
Don’t expect to have all the answers immediately, philosophy is acquired by experience
Developing a philosophy involves two things: Developing a self awareness
Know your objectives

Self awareness is important because your athletes will respond to how you behave. They are more likely to become what you are than what you want them to become
Increase your self awareness by:
Reflecting on your own beliefs and assumptions
Requesting feedback from other people on how they see you
