Purpose of Future Activist Programme 09/10 Complete and expand the RCN FA Programme UK wide
Implement and evaluate a standardised learning and development programme for RCN Activists across the UK and develop and implement a systematic approach to reviewing the role descriptors for each activist role
Identify and work with a professional accreditation provider to demonstrate the above programme meets UK standards
Design and implement a UK mentorship programme that enables RCN representatives to be mentored in the role to demonstrate their competence
Promote the role of the RCN Representatives in the workplace and continue to build a vibrant activist community throughout the UK using a range of learning resources, information sources and financial opportunities, for example UnionLearn Funding

Need for UK-wide mentorship framework Framework should be underpinned by ENTO
