In order to best meet the increasing legal requirements regarding the after-treatment of exhaust gases, DEUTZ

provides maximum efficiency and flexibility: An engine´s exhaust after-treatment strategy and components are

individually customized depending on the application and the engine´s power because each machine has its own

profile. By optimizing temperature management, injection and charge air cooling strategy, DEUTZ is able to achieve

consistent engine performance and low fuel consumption – which means increased productivity for our customers.

Technology

■ Compact modular design allows for minimal space requirements. In

combination with the wide range of product variants, a multitude of

installation situations can be covered.

■ Reliable and robust technology provides easy maintenance, safety and

■ The use of reliable turbocharger technology avoids costly service calls. In

Emission Downgrade

DEUTZ engines with emission levels of stage IIIB / IV / TIER 4 interim and final are designed for the use of high-quality

fuels, which are available in countries that are subject to the current exhaust emission legislation. Sale and export of used

equipment in so-called secondary markets makes it necessary for the engines to be modified, in order to ensure safe and

trouble-free operation. DEUTZ Service offers cost-effective Emission-Downgrade-Kits that are individually matched to the

engine type and system, allowing for market-oriented prices for used machines.

DPF Cleaning

With the right technology, a modern diesel

particulate filter can be almost completely freed

of soot and ash. The DEUTZ DPF cleaning

process XClean features a combination of ther-

mal-, air-, and liquid treatment with optimized

pulse rate and produces best-in-class results.

This way we can offer a reusable, cost-effective

filter, that provides optimum filtration perfor-
