This month I traveled to San Antonio where the Destino Winter Conference took place. It was not a large gathering (fewer than 100 in attendance), but God was at work in mighty ways. Our speakers led us to the Word, reminding us to trust and worship God; and to find our identity in the agape love of Jesus Christ. During an afternoon of sharing their faith, more than ten students were able to lead people to Christ. Praise God for these new brothers and sisters!
A GENERATION RISING UP
TO TAKE THEIR PLACE
There is a line from a worship song that rejoices, “I see a generation rising up to take their place, with selfless faith”. As I sang, I felt in my heart that God was showing me that these are the young men and women He wants to use to bring a revival of belief in the Latino
community and in the world. And I was not the only one receiving this message. Our main speaker concluded with these
words, “There is a renaissance, a re-birth, happening among the Latino community and it is your fault! God is going to use you in ways that He could not use my generation.” For Josue, this looks like trusting God in new places. He is transferring this semester to Texas State, where he hopes to begin a Destino movement. “In this short time I was deeply encouraged to begin and lead Destino here at Texas State. I must stay in prayer, faith, and
strength to live His will.”
Praise God that He allows us to take part in building His kingdom! Friends, I am so thankful for your partnership!

Prayer & Praise
I rocked the housing table as students arrived at the conference
* Pray for co-laborers to join
Josue & that he would draw
near to God as he begins
Destino at Texas State
* Pray that God would continue
to raise up laborers among the
Latino community that our
brothers & sisters may have the
opportunity to hear and
respond to the Gospel
...and it is your fault!
