Q. Should a candidate appear in MAHCET if he has already appeared in any of the All India management entrance
tests?
Toppers Answers
Chintan is of the view that the students need to check which test scores are allowed for admission at the respective institutes. Also,
if a candidate has given some other test, there is no harm in giving CET.
Niraj is rm and lays emphasis on appearing in MAHCET. According to him a candidate should appear CET because it gives
candidate an another chance to improve upon his/her score and get the best what he/she can get. Talking specically about JBIMS,
seats through CET are more than any other exam which would give candidate a better chance.
Preethi also favours that a candidate shouldnt miss out on MAHCET and opine why lose out on a chance to secure admission to a
premier B-School?
Nihaal shares that It depends on the candidates interest entirely. If he targets only the IIMs, theres no use in taking CET. But he
recommends taking CET as well since the preparation for CET isnt too demanding after having prepared for other entrance exams.
All one needs is good speed and an active mind to ensure accuracy.
Q. What shall be the benet in case a candidate decides to appear in CET?
Toppers answer
Chintan shares that most of the seats in colleges are under CET, including JBIMS. Moreover, CET is an easier exam.
Niraj is very positive and is of the view that It gives candidate another chance to improve upon his/her score and get the best what
he/she can get. Talking specically about JBIMS, seats through CET are more than any other exam which would give candidate a
better chance.
