Good-looking, long-lasting and hard-wearingStainless steel sinks from Franke are made frompremium quality 18/10 chrome nickel steel,which looks beautiful, is resistant to staining,rust and corrosion – and is simplicity itself tokeep clean. It won’t chip, craze, flake or breakeither – plus it’s the perfect material for ensuring the highest standards of cleanlinessand hygiene.

Ceramic sinks (many in traditional designs) aremade from kiln-fired porcelain which has atough, smooth gloss finish which stands up toeven the harshest treatment.

Fragranite is a unique material pioneered byFranke, which contains 80% granite – one ofnature’s hardest materials. With the performancecharacteristics of stainless steel, Fragraniteresists burns, dents chips and stains – in fact it’sthe toughest synthetic sink available, and itcomes in a wide range of shades, offering unique opportunities for colour combinationsin the kitchen.

Undermount rangeIf you like sleek, ultra-cool stylish looks in yourkitchen, you’ll love our undermounted sinks,which look particularly handsome whencombined with solid granite, wood and marbleworktops. As its name implies, an undermountedsink is fitted beneath the worktop, which has ahole cut to match the sink beneath. This ensuresthat the surface area of the worktop remainssmooth and uninterrupted, without the sink edgerising above the level of the work surface.

Franke MD undermounted sinks are available insingle and double configurations, in a widerange of shapes; they’re also available asDesigner Packs – value-for-money packagescontaining sink, a tap we recommend, plus anumber of matching accessories. Undermounted Installation Guide A template and fixing clips are provided in the box.Some circumstances may allow for fitting a bowldirectly to the worktop. Alternatively a plywoodtemplate can be made to the size of the sink, whichwill effectively ‘sandwich’ the sink flange, whenaddressed to the underside of the material.(Refer to diagrams opposite).

We would recommend the use of a sealant betweenthe flange of the sink and the worktop to avoid anywater ingress.

Any associated or ancillary costs to be incurred by you as a result of replacement of Frankesinks and taps under this guarantee shall in all casesbe previously approved by Franke UK Limited.This guarantee is in addition to and does notaffect your statutory rights.
