The samples were tested in triplicate according to principles of ASTM D 4060. This evaluation was conducted with S-42 abrasive strips afxed to S-32rubber wheels which were changed every 500 cycles and between sample changeovers. Each wheel was loaded with a 500 gram weight.

What is Taber Testing?

1) The ooring is secured to a turntablecovered with sandpaper.

2) The turntable is rotated and the sandpaperwears against the nish.

3) The total number of full revolutionsto break through is the Taber Rating.
