Audiotherapy uses our sense of hearing to relieve stress

and foster relaxation. The sounds of gently flowing water are soothing, but you can also use the power of music to relax. With Stereo H2O you will not only hear but actually feel the

sound through your body as it travels through the water.

For health and beauty. Innovative technology fills the tub with billions of tiny bubbles as small as the head of a pin, turning the water milky white, to cleanse and gently

exfoliate the skin. The result is skin that is hydrated, moisturized and restored, feeling soft, smooth and supple.

Heat soothes and relaxes. Keep your water hot longer with an inline heater

that will maintain your water temperature at 104*F. You can also warm the tub's backrest and floor with radiant heat.

Light and color affect human bio-rhythms and life equilibrium. Most MTI baths offer the possibility of including the

therapeutic effects of chromatherapy through the use of underwater lighting provided by digitally controlled LEDs.

The MaterialMTI's mineral composite material is made of natural minerals mined locally in Georgia from a large natural granite and marble resource, bound together by a high-grade casting resin.

The ResultMTI mineral composite tubs have high insulating properties for longer soaks and are shock-resistant for durability. The non-porous surface is UV- and stain-resistant for easy care.

The FinishThe smooth, white glossy finish is provided by a high-performance polyresin coating specially formulated for MTI with superior characteristics. Each product is hand-finished for beauty.

At MTI, Sculpted Finish® describes both a look and a process. The look is seamless, as if the tub were hand-molded out of a single piece of material. The process involves a series of painstakingly detailed steps, all performed by hand by the craftsmen at MTI.

MTI inventiveness permits individuals to craft their own one-of-a-kind tub. The Andrea® drop-in tubs on the following page may also be ordered with Sculpted Finish on one, two or three sides, or even transformed into a freestanding tub!

Whirlpool BathThis hydrotherapy utilizes a mixture of water and air that is drawn in from the bathtub by a pump and then propelled toward the bather through jets. It provides a deep, penetrating massage that can be targeted at different parts of the body. This is perfect for tired, strained muscles. Two whirlpool equipment packages are available, with pulsating Tsubo massage included in the Ultra Whirlpool packages.

Combination Air Bath & Stream BathExpand your options. You can select a package that combines Stream Bath with either of the two air bath packages available. So depending on your mood and needs, you can enjoy the ultimate soaking tub with Stream Bath, or experience the full-body massage of an air bath.

Combination Air & Whirlpool BathEnjoy the best of both worlds with an air / whirlpool bath combination. You can select the light full-body massage of an air bath, the deep penetrating massage of a whirlpool or both therapies simultaneously. Different therapies for different moments, or even for different household members.

If either combination above is selected with Air Massage Elite, Spa Mode is included.

Soaking BathA simple soaking bath is the most elemental form of hydrotherapy where heat and the water’s natural buoyancy foster deep relaxation. Designer soaking tubs are ergonomically designed for maximum comfort with lumbar support and backrest angles to accommodate different needs and preferences.

Stream Bath®Stream Bath creates the ultimate soaking tub.by replicating the feeling of sitting in a tranquil forest stream. Directional slotted vents provide a slow-moving, gentle current of water created by a whisper-quiet pump. The current of water is very soothing and relaxing, and the sound of the moving water is equally therapeutic.

Air BathAn air bath provides a gentle, full-body massage that is restorative and relaxing. MTI’s air bath system places the air jets on the floor of the tub to provide maximum coverage of the bather’s body with millions of tiny bubbles. The air bubbles come in contact with skin, open the pores and raise the capillaries toward the surface to detoxify the bather. Two different air bath packages are available.

If Air Elite is selected, either alone or in combination with a whirlpool, the control key pad includes a wonderful feature called Spa Mode. This provides 3 pre-programmed settings that will sequence through the various therapies in different combinations to create a spa experience that is energetic, relaxing or deep tissue.

SENSORY THERAPIES

AromatherapyThis ancient therapy uses aromatic essences naturally extracted from plants to harmonize and promote health of body, mind and spirit. Different aromatic essences have different effects. Most MTI air bath systems for drop-in tubs include a built-in aromatherapy diffusion system to allow the bather to enjoy the benefits of this ancient form of therapy while bathing. When the air bath is operating, millions of tiny air bubbles carry the aromatic essence through the water to the surface, where the bubbles pop and release the aromatic power of the essential oils.

ChromatherapyFor centuries, light and color have been recognized as having an effect on human bio-rhythms and life equilibrium. Different colors affect individuals differently. Most MTI baths offer the possibility of including the therapeutic effects of chromatherapy through the use of underwater lighting provided by digitally controlled LEDs. A control button allows selection of constant colors or preset programs to achieve the desired lighting.

ThermaltherapyThermaltherapy uses heat to soothe, quiet and relax the body, making hot water an essential ingredient in any form of hydrotherapy. It will even make the body more receptive to the benefits of an air bath or whirlpool. Recirculating water heaters are available to be used with the various forms of hydrotherapy so you can enjoy them longer, and you can even have radiant heat installed to warm the tub’s backrest and floor. AudiotherapyAudiotherapy uses another one of our senses to promote wellness by relieving stress and fostering relaxation. The soothing sounds of the gently flowing Stream Bath are certainly restorative. But you can also use the power of music to soothe, relax and revive. MTI’s Stereo H2O integrates electronic transducers into the bath shell, essentially transforming it into a sounding board so the bather not only hears the sounds but also feels the music through the body as it travels through the bath water. MicrobubblesMicrobubbles innovative technology super-saturates the water with up to 50% more dissolved oxygen than regular water alone. Billions of tiny oxygen-rich microbubbles gently remove impurities from skin and pores, leaving the body cleansed and gently exfoliated. The result is skin that is hydrated, moisturized and restored, feeling soft, smooth and supple. STEREO H2O

Audiotherapy is delivered through high-performance acoustic transducers that are integrated with the bath shell’s exterior to transform it into a sounding board. Two versions are available. One system includes 4 transducers with pre-wired leads from each so you can use the stereo receiver/amplifier of your choice or a product such as those available from Sonos, Inc. The second is an installed system ready to use with Bluetooth amp, on/off button and 2 integrated transducers. An optional waterproof, floating remote control is available for the Bluetooth system.

CHROMATHERAPYMost MTI baths offer the possibility of including the therapeutic effects of chromatherapy through the use of underwater lighting provided by digitally controlled LEDs. A control button allows selection of constant colors or preset programs to achieve the desired lighting. Includes 2 digitally-controlled LEDs unless otherwise specified. While chromatherapy lighting can be added as a separate option, it is also included in a number of hydrotherapy packages.

MICROBUBBLESMicrobubbles innovative technology draws water in from the tub and infuses it with up to 50% more dissolved oxygen. The water enters a compression chamber and then on to a turbulence chamber, which creates tiny bubbles the size of the head of a pin. Billions of these tiny bubbles fill the tub with such a density that the water turns milky white. These tiny oxygen-rich microbubbles gently remove impurities from skin and pores, leaving the body cleansed and gently exfoliated. The result is skin that is hydrated, moisturized and restored, feeling soft, smooth and supple. As billions of microbubbles quietly pop around you, the energy they release also keeps bath water warm.

SLIM-LINE OVERFLOW WITH TOE-TAP DRAINSleek, low-profile overflow offers a clean appearance. Different finishes available. Overflow is factory-installed and applicable only to specific tubs.

VIRTUAL SPOUTThe High-Flow Virtual Spout offers a very discreet replacement for the traditional filler spout. It is factory-installed on an inside wall of the tub. Not only does it help provide an uncluttered appearance, but it removes the potential obstacle of a filler spout where that may be a consideration for bather safety.

DRAIN KITSMTI has a variety of drains kits available for each tub. Available types are Lift & Turn, Toe-Tap and Cable Driven in different finishes. Drains and overflows are not installed at the factory, unless otherwise indicated on tub specification sheets.

INLINE HEATERSInline heaters are available for soakers, air baths and whirlpools. These systems do not heat cold water but maintain bath water temperature at 104° F. While an inline heater can be added as a separate option, it is also included in a number of hydrotherapy packages.

WHIRLPOOL CLEANING SYSTEMSMTI’s patented Fill-Flush® and Simple Touch® whirlpool cleaning systems are the best on the market. Designed to keep your whirlpool clean and hygienic, both systems circulate cleaning solution and fresh water through the entire plumbing system, including the water and air lines, large jets and pump. All this is achieved in fewer than 5 minutes and with less than 10 gallons of water. Fill-Flush is manual and Simple Touch is semi-automatic.

RADIANCE®Radiance Bath Surface Heating System applies radiant heat to the interior surface of tub to make leaning back more comfortable. Factory-installed and fully integrated in the acrylic shell structure, the Radiance system includes electronic heating grids for 2 areas, plus all of the electronic controls. Two systems can be specified for a two-person tub. Radiance can also be applied to Designer shower bases.

OZONEThe bath Ozonator, available in MTI whirlpool and Stream Bath tubs, is a safe, effective and natural bath sanitation system that works while the user is enjoying the whirlpool or Stream Bath. Ozone, nature’s purest form of sanitizer and oxidation agent, kills all known bacteria, viruses, cysts, yeasts, molds and mildew and helps to rid the water of disease-causing microorganisms while you are enjoying the whirlpool or Stream Bath. The Ozonator system automatically starts and stops with the whirlpool or Stream Bath.

GRAB BARSEnhance accessibility and safety within and around the tub with grab bars. Grab bars are available for most models of tubs and may be added to the flat inner wall of the tub. Choose curved acrylic or curved metal. Also available for drop-in tubs with a flat rim is the top-mount model shown.

PILLOWSBath pillows provide support for head and neck. Four styles are available. All are removable. Shown is the most versatile, the Roll-Up pillow. It simply lays across the tub deck area and can also be rolled up for use in the lumbar area or under legs.

TILE FLANGES / ABSAvailable on most rectangular and corner baths. Whether factory- or field-installed, the rigid ABS tile flange is chemically bonded to the tub to ensure a water-tight installation between the top tub surface and the surrounding wall area.

J.C. HENRY – OUR FOUNDER

J.C. Henry founded our company in 1988. He was a self-made man, a driven entrepreneur and resourceful in developing unique manufacturing processes still used today.

Against sound advice, he started a company in the challenging financial climate of a time when the interest rate was over 20% and his own age was nearing 60. This spirit of risk-taking was inspirational and integral to MTI’s culture. He relentlessly pursued the highest quality of product as the only acceptable outcome.

KATHERINE ADAMS – OUR CEO

In 1998 J.C. chose his successor, our CEO Kathy Adams. Building on J.C.’s legacy of the highest quality products, Kathy applied her business background and brought a new focus on superb award-winning designs to establish MTI as the luxury brand it is today.

The nucleus of MTI’s thriving culture is dedicated individuals who love what they do. Kathy is the educator who defines an MTI leader as one who enables others to succeed.

We are honored and humbled to be chosen numerous times as one of the top places to work in Atlanta.

When J.C’s. health deteriorated and the acquisition deal fell through in 2001, MTI employees invested their 401k savings and refinanced their homes to purchase the company from J.C. so that we could continue. Since then MTI has been an employee-owned company, which is a rare occurrence in today’s business world.

It is not uncommon at MTI to have many families working together and many employees working more than 10 years with us. We strive to build a strong community within MTI and our neighborhoods.
