1 Company/Person who comes to you with a design request (as well as target market)
2 The issue that the client has, something that you can solve as the designer
3 Short description of what the client wants out of the project
4 Market research for the target audience, other relevant research relating to project
5 Sitting down with the client to talk about restraints, money/budget, promotion and other issues.
6 First initial ideas to solve the problem, need to be diverse
7 Looking at the possible solutions you have come up with and assessing them against target market etc.
8 Also evaluating ideas, seeing how successful they would be and building comparisons against each other
9 Building trials and maquettes 10 Looking at prototype to see how I can improve the idea
11 Finding a final design and prototype that has been successful and planning for making it.
12 An objective and subject review of my product and it’s suitability for purpose. An honest review of my project management and performance.
