The first part of the day we will all be together in the main room for the Opening ceremony and the

keynote speeches. After that, you will be able to join parallel sessions in labelled Zoom breakout rooms.

Full programme details are on the pages following below.

Parallel sessions A, B and C contain the group projects, competition teams and the AAPS doctoral cohort.

Parallel sessions D, E, F and G contain all the final year projects. The posters for these can be browsed in

advance by clicking on the respective headings in the programme below.

All day, there will be a separate breakout room for industrial visitors hosted by our placement team and

the main room hosted by the organisers and tech support.

Practical instructions:

• (In advance) Install the latest version of the Zoom App. https://zoom.us/support/download . If your

Zoom version is up to date, your Zoom application will simply open up as confirmation that you are

already up to date. Feel free to test the event’s Zoom link and navigation the day before, on the

25th May 09:00-1700.

• Change your screen name to include your affiliation into following format ‘Annie Smith (Mega

Engineering ltd)’ by right clicking on yourself and choosing ‘Rename’.

• Join at 08:50 on 26 May for the Opening ceremony and Keynotes (starting at 09:00)

• From 10:30 onwards, navigate to the parallel sessions you are interested in through the Breakout

rooms which will pop up according to the times published in the programme.

• Contribute to the event: Use the ‘Raise your hand’ function (found by pressing the ‘Reactions’

button) to contribute a question or type questions / positive feedback to the speakers in the chat

box.

• Switch your camera on wherever possible, especially in the parallel sessions.
