—POLIMI: Design Policy
POLIMI: Design Policy — Design Policies are action in support of design, intended as lever of economic development in a determinate territory.
In Europe a fragmented environment exists where many regions and nations (eg.: Denmark, Estonia, Finland) are currently establishing specific strategies of development.
Its goal is to create a resourcebased on data and empirical evidencefor policy maker, public servants and the public administration, academics, and users generally interested about the topic, to support the world of design policy.
DfE: Design Policy Beacon —
Starting with a database of 548 policies,we selected 45 relevant accordingly to specific criteria.
Analysis process —
The Beacon interprets data through a framework that analyse investmentsmade in design and their relative ecosystem of subject in a certain territory.

DPB: Catalogue –
The Beacon will provide the possibility of a comparison on a European scale between different geographical contexts, based on their design support profile.
Value Learning by different experiences made in similar contexts
DPB: Pattern –
The Beacon will provide guidelines based on interpretation from experts in the fieldfor development of future design policies. ValueBetter allocation of future investments.
DPB: Recommendations –
