تنظم إدارة الفنون بدائرة الثقافة واإلعالم بالشارقة، تلبية للتوجيهات الحثيثة لحضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي عضو المجلس األعلى لالتحاد، حاكم الشارقة بضرورة االهتمام بالمبدعين في جميع مجاالت الفنون البصرية، وكذلك اهتمام العرب في المصورين دائم التحاد بالثقافة عموما، حيث كانت مكرمة سموه منح مقر المهتمة العربية بالمؤسسات األهلية سموه ثقافة نشر ورعايتهم من خالل الحقيقيين المبدعين للكشف عن السنوي برنامجها يأتي ضمن الذي المعرض تنظم هذا الشارقة،

بصرية راقية.»معرض البر« هذا، ينظمه مكتب إدارة الفنون بالذيد بالتعاون مع اتحاد المصورين العرب ويضم أعماال ألكثر من مائة فنان في مجال التصوير الضوئي، يحاول المشاركون فيه أن يقدموا رؤى معبرة عن مفهوم الصحراء بمختلف أوجهها اعتمادا على مجموعة من المناظر الطبيعية والعناصر البيئية المختلفة التي تعكس المكانة المميزة للبيئة الصحراوية في دولة اإلمارات العربية المتحدة وذلك من

خالل مختلف أساليب التصوير الضوئي وتقنياته، ومن خالل رؤى الفنانين وزوايا عدساتهم المختلفة التي تميز أعمالهم.نأمل من خالل هذا المعرض أن نكون قد حققنا بعضا من طموحاتنا في نشر ثقافة بصرية وجمالية تغني المتلقي وتزيد من ذائقته

الجمالية.

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah is a firm believer in the role of culture and arts in the development of society. His dedication to fine arts is best manifested in his great interest in the creative talented artists in all domains of visual arts, as well as his interest in Arab Domestic Institutes that are generally interested in culture. And so he granted a permanent headquarters for the Union of Arab Photographers in Sharjah. Moreover the Directorate of Arts at the Sharjah Department of Culture and Information is very proud to organize this exhibition within its annual programme, to reveal the true talents and sponsor them through spreading sophisticated visual culture. «Desert Exhibition» organized by Al Dhaid Art Directorate Office in collaboration with the Union of Arab Photographers. It includes the works of more than one hundred photographers, where the participants present in these photographs their personal visions about the desert. Their photos manifest a group of landscapes and various environmental elements that reflect the special status of the desert environment in the United Arab Emirates and other Arabic countries through using various styles and techniques of photography, and various angles of lenses. We hope through this exhibition that we have achieved some of our ambitions in spreading visual and aesthetic culture that would enrich the viewers artistic background and increase its aesthetical taste.

United by The beauty of the desert How nice this collaboration between the Art Directorate at the Sharjah Department of Culture and Information and the Union of Arab Photographers. Their exchanged efforts contributed in organizing several common activities that aim at in discovering new creative Arabic talents in the domain of Photography. We were urged by the kind guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to look after these young distinguish talents in the various domains of life. Today in this beautiful exhibition Arabic photographers meet together from different Arabic countries, and this exhibition is entitled «The Desert and its counterparts». The desert occupies a very distinguish status in our Arabic culture, for as many poets have mentioned it in their poems, and many great Arabic writers have encountered the theme of the desert in their novels, whereas the great artists and lovers in the world revealed their agony through the image of the desert. Nevertheless, the desert was historically associated with the best and bravest Arab Knights. Recently the desert photographs were highly seen in many Arabic and international exhibitions and contests. These magnificent photographs of the desert has gained the recognition and admiration of the viewers. In this exhibition were are very proud to represent a unique new experience. The photographers from the U.A.E. and from other Arabic countries were able to present in these breathtaking photos their different experiences and visions which encounter different themes and concepts of the desert life. The photos narrate a tale that delight our hearts and make our eyes smile. And from the charming area of Al Dhaid we welcome you ….

وهج وجمال البر يجمعناكم هو جميل ذلك التعاون القائم بين ادراة الفنون في دائرة الثقافة واالعالم في الشارقة واتحاد المصورين العرب من خالل فضاء الصورة الفوتوغرافية الواعدة، انها برامج عمل تنظم وتطوّر من خالل فعاليات مشتركة اسست ونظمت تحت قواعد فنية مشتركة المعايير والمضامين والتي ساهمت وتساهم في البحث والكشف عن طاقات ومواهب عربية خاّلقة حمّلنا امانتها صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي حفظه اهلل ــ عضو المجلس االعلى حاكم الشارقة بعد ان

وجه سموه رعاه اهلل باالهتمام بالطاقات الشبابية المتميزة في ميادين الحياة المختلفة.اليوم تلتقي صناعات المصورين العرب الضوئية من بالد العرب تحت ظالل هذا المعرض الجميل الذي يحمل عنوانا اسمه )البر ــ الصحراء ومثيالتها(.

لقد كانت الصحراء عناوين رائعة الحضور في ذاكراتنا بعد ان تغنى بها كبار الشعراء وتنافست بجمالها كبرى الروايات وتأمل خيالها وضوئها وظاللها اعظم الفنانين والعاشقين في العالم وأقترن اسمها تأريخيا بأفضل واشجع الفرسان العرب ، أما الصورة الضوئية فقد وجدت لنفسها الصحراء مكانا وحضورا رائعا وبارزا

في العديد من المعارض والمسابقات العربية والدولية لتنال تقديرا واعجابا جميال من الناظرين لمفاتنها.لقد شكل هذا المعرض تجربة جديدة غير تقليدية في سفر المعارض الضوئية وفقا لتجارب ورؤى مختلفة المواضيع والمفاهيم قدمها المبدعون من الفوتوغرافيين

من دولة االمارات العربية المتحدة بشكل خاص والمصور العربي بشكل عام لكي تروي لنا حكايا ضوئية تبتسم لها العيون وتسر لها القلوب.ومن قلب واحة الذيد الساحرة من بالد الشارقة العامرة نقول للجميع.
