equipment can contribute much if she has a true appreciation of its value and the amount
of labor involved in its preparation.

RECOVERY ROOM OBJECTIVES
Post-operative care involves the care of the patient while ho /she is recoveringfrom anesthesia. It consists of the il-rdiato care of the patient following surgery.This requires keen observation and good judgement in meeting the immediate needs ofthe patient.
Objectives:
1. To. observe the reaction of the patient while neishe recovers from the effects ofthe anesthetic.
2. To assess, observe and report symptoms, such no: vital signs, skin color, condition ofof dressings, drainage and position.
3. To associate the purpose and fulletioas of the recovery room as a part of thehospital organization, and as a moMber of the health teem.
