This profile is especially suitable for the attachment to plaster boards.

AP have to be cut to mitre at the corners. In order to get a clean cut it is recommended to use a saw or a shear.

DESCOR® profile - compound‣ The joints have to be finished with care to avoid visible gaps between the profiles.

At the joints the two profiles have to be fixed with one or two additional screws.

‣ The corners have to be finished with care, just after the whole ceiling is stretched.

‣ To avoid getting the ceiling overstretched, the spatula is slowley pressed into the profile from bottom to top about 3 cm away from the corners.

‣ After stretching the whole ceiling, the overlaying material is cut with a cutter. It is important to leave some material at the corners to have some reserves (about 1 cm x 5 cm).

‣ Use the spatula to stick the reserve completely into the profile. This procedure allows opening the ceiling again afterwards.

‣ Pendant lamp:After fixing the profiles a wooden lath of 10 mm has to be attached flush with the profiles to the existing ceiling. In order to compensate small differences in height, we recommend to bevel the edge of the lath and to round all four edges. Having mounted the ceiling, the lamp can be attached to the wooden lath under the ceiling.

Designing of borders with decorative profiles‣ The DESCOR® universal profile with a height of 10 mm allows to maintain the existing

decorative profiles. The mounting of the profile has to be done with the right screws depending on the subsurface.

‣ For the mounting of new decorative profiles you have different options depending on the height of the installed ceiling system. In any case it is recommended to work with a wooden substructure.

PackagingBy a clever packaging DESCOR® arrives perfectly on your building site.

‣ Carton packagingThe DESCOR® ceiling standard white is delivered in carton packaging if cutted. This carton can be positioned in the middle of the area where the ceiling will be installed. The ceiling is packed in such a way that you can directly start with the installation after the spreading of the fabric.

‣ Roll packagingIf you order a DESCOR® ceiling printed, coloured, acoustic or standard sizes you receive it rolled on a tube. By this roll packaging it is guaranteed that the ceiling does not get pressure marks or cracks.
