Our MissionThe mission of the DeSales Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program is to provide a quality, practice-based education for masters-prepared nurses who will influence and manage the challenges of the delivery of health care within the tenets and beliefs of Christian humanism.

With a DNP Degree...You will be able to become a nurse leader and practice as a nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife, or a nurse anesthetist, providing advanced levels of nursing care to individuals, families, and populations.

AccreditationThe baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master’s degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate programs at DeSales University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

With a DNP Degree...

Why the DeSales DNP Program?

DeSales University is proud to offer the first — and only — DNP Program with an MBA option in the Lehigh Valley.

Fast and FlexibleAll degree requirements can be met in seven semesters, with an additional five for the MBA option.

• Hybrid or online format available

• Continue working while pursuing doctoral study

• Maintain your certification credential while progressing through the DNP Program

• Study full-time and still meet your other responsibilities

Hybrid or Online Format AvailableEach new cohort is in residence on-campus for four days in August for orientation and an introduction to the first two courses.

In the hybrid option, students will be in residence on-campus for three days, Friday through Sunday, in August, January, and April.

In the online format, students will continue to take classes in a completely digital set-ting.

For both of these formats, during the final semester, students meet on-campus to de-fend their DNP Scholarly Project.

Hotel accommodations provided with no additional out-of-pocket cost to student. Meals included.
