DEPUTY PRODUCTION MANAGER – LEAN/ CNC / TECHNICAL / MACHINING

PROCESSES, PROJECT MANAGEMENT/ NEW PLANT SETUP RAYONG – BANKHAI/ HRIL

Salary: B/ 120,000 – 150,000 THB / Monthly + Benefits

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will report directly to the Expat Factory Director and will be responsible for the following key functions:

Providing support to the Production Manager in relation to the effective management of all related production activities (capability of managing individual parts of production projects, and production organisation in terms of people, equipment & materials).

Coordinating the necessary auxiliary activities for a proper production process set–up (managing the subcontractors engaged in the production processes – e.g. bending, machining & transports organisation).

Ensuring the regular review of production plan progress and initiating corrective actions in order to enable on time deliveries of production projects to customers’ premises.

Communicating with all concerned parties within the organisation in order to provide and share production related information.

Maintaining control of the production costs within the department and initiating actions to reduce / optimise them.

Ensuring effective equipment maintenance in the production area by managing the suppliers / contractors engaged in this scope.

Preparing relevant production reports, in line with customers’ requirements & company standards.

Supervising work safety activities within the production area in order to provide a safe working environment and protect employees against accidents (by direct interface with coordinator & contractor appointed for plant safety).

Providing leadership in developing and maintaining a sound team effort among all employees.

Coaching, training and developing subordinate competencies.

Providing on the job training to supervisors in relation to work instructions and new products.

Being responsible for the operation of the factory with respect to productivity, quality, on time delivery, efficiencies and staff supervision and training.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field.

Male with age 35 years old up.

At least 7-10 years’ experience in Home Appliances / Automotive industries.

Very strong technical knowledge.

Relevant experience in industrial production environment & management experience.

Experience with Lean, Process Improvement, CNC, machining processes, Project Management & Maintenance.

Results oriented, effective communication skills, well organised & responsible, relevant analytical & problem solving skills, teamwork skills.

Strong problem solving skills with good management and organisation skills.

Positive thinking, ability to work with cross functional teams and good problem solving skills.
