Demographic consequences by the increasing of the popluation.who are the inhabitants? How can Malmø get more dense with 100.000 new inhabitants? Will it be at the expence of the social interactions, the green spaces, more polution and less available recreationareas?

Based on the IPCC report, it is noted that current and future climate change would be expected to have a number of impacts, particu-larly on coastal systems. Such impacts may include many serious incidents pr example increased coastal erosion, higher storm-surge flooding, changes in surface water quality and groundwater characteristics, impacts on agriculture and aquaculture through decline in soil and water quality, and loss of tourism, recreation, and transportation functions. As shown on the map it is how Malmø will be after 3 meter of sea-level rising (in a period of 100 years).

A for ALTERNATIVES FOR THE FUTURE
My focus will now be to look into the larger scale.
- How to place 100.000 new in-habitants in an already densed situation
- How to combine the traffic-system with the increasing of the population for the future.
-how can the citizens move from A to B in a faster and more economically way?For how long will the City-tunnel manage to transport people before it needs exten-sions?

POINTS OF DEPARTURE
The railwaysystem for today does not hold for the development which is expected in the Oresund region. If the railway network does not improve the expected traffic will increase with more cars, which will mean increased environmental impact and several traffic accidents in the area. It will also be difficult for the road traffic to connect the Malmo Oresund region in an efficient man-ner.
