Yes. Suggestions from internal and external experts are taken into consideration for

modification of course curriculum. Suggestions from Ph. D and PG students are

also taken for consideration for formulation of syllabus with a focus on enhancement

The Department of History has shown overall leadership not only in the specific areas

of specialization but also in its capacity to develop their students in various other areas.

The Department has made outstanding contributions in the field teaching, research and

extension activities, in frontline areas of History and in many interdisciplinary subjects.

The faculty members are undertaking research on Regional and Tribal History and

publishing their findings in the form of books, monographs, research papers.
