a. Ensure competent personnel of DepED through development and implementation of a strategic HRD plan (Professional and Career Development)

Human Resource Development Division
a. Facilitates the development and implementation of educational plans, policies, standards and guidelines.
b. Lead in the utilization of complete, valid, timely and accurate data for information and planning and policy direction.
c. Maintains and update the Data Management System.
Policy, Planning and Research Division (PPRD)
a. Strengthens the delivery of quality basic education.
b. Provide SDO’s with conducive learning environment.
c. Ensure learner’s readiness through timely mobilization and equitable distribution of sufficient resources.
Education Support Services Division (ESSD)
a. Provide relevant, timely and appropriate Technical Assistance to SDO’s through coordination of all units in the Regional Office
b. Understands the situation of SDO’s, their needs, plans, strengths and weaknesses.
c. Provide enabling interventions and strategies to SDO’s to help them achieve their goals and targets.
