Because of thiswe are offering the newly introduced FET updatedqualification known as the NC(V) course.The National Certificate (Vocational) is aimed at students at NQF level 2 in Further Education and Training (FET) public and privatecolleges, as well as other institutions offering FET vocational programmes.The National Certificate (Vocational) at level 2 of the NQF enables students to acquire the necessary knowledge, practical skills,applied competence and understanding required foremployment at an elementary level of a particularoccupation or trade.NC (V) programmes are offered on levels 2,3 and 4 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) in Business Studies, EngineeringStudies, Creative and Social Services as well as Information and Communication Technology.The qualification is a year long course and learners are issued with a certificate upon successfully completion of each level of studyi.e. level 2, level 3 and level 4. The National Certificate (Vocational) will offer progammes in the form of subjects that will consist ofacademic knowledge and theory integrated with the

The practical component can be offered in either a real workplace environment or a simulated one and will givelearners a feel of the world of work outside during their period of study.Brooklyn City College is proud to announce the introduction of NATED Courses. The qualification are N4 - N6 in the stream ofEngineering and Business/Managment Programmes.
Engineering Programmes (N2 - N6) - Each level hasa period of 6months. After successful completion of each level, the learner is awarded a certificate. On completion of all levels all learners will undergo an internship trainingindustry experience for a period of 2years, after which a leaner will be awarded a Diploma by the Authority Body of the Department of Education.
Business/Managment Programmes (N4 - N6) -Each level has a period of 6months. After successfulcompletion of each level the learner is awarded a certificate. On completion of all levels all, learners will undergo an internship training industry experience for a period of 18 months, after which a leaner will be awardeda Diploma by the Authority Body of the Department of Educaiton.

This Qualification is designed to equipment the learner with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to beappointed as Financial Accounting Technicians who have an important role to play, either as supportstaff to the Accountant, where they provide Accounting and Financial Management support in the fieldof Accounting and Financial Management in medium to large organisations or by assuming the role ofAccountant in a smaller organization, where an outsourced registered Chartered Accountant provides theservice of supervision and monitoring.Whilst it is clearly important that the learner should be competent in using modern information technology,most of the Unit Standards for Accounting in this Qualification avoid reference to specific methods ofprocessing data.
PURPOSE AND RATIONAL OF THE QUALIFICATION
RATIONALThis Qualification has been developed as a coherent set of "generic" competences in Accounting so that itapplies to a wide range of different types of Accounting jobs in a variety of organisations. Transferablecorecompetences for broadly defined areas of Accounting activity have been identified and included in thisQualification as they apply to all employees involved in an Accounting role in any organisation. CERTIFICATION
No refund will be paid in the case of death, illness, injuries or cancellation of a student. Cancellation procedures outlined in the registration formPayment may be made respectively into the college Bank Account. A non-refundable registration fee of R500 is payable by all students on registration. Adeposit is also payable as per course as specified.Fees vary according to the choice of your course. The stipulated amount may be paid in cash or in installment as specified in the price list.Each monthly installment is due and repayable on or before the 31st of every month.
