;Introduction
This year experienced good rains in almost all the regions with an improvement in the forage jbees. The result was a lot of swarms reported in many areas in all the regions and an increase in !the kilograms of honey harvested.
: Even though many swarms were capture and hived, there is still a lot of colonies absconding. Old (problems still persist . (record keeping is not done and if done its not consistant.
Field officers still face transport problems. This is a constraint which result in untimely operations, not only by field officers but even the farmers.
i I Shortage of equipment in some places resulted in delay to implement projects*funds ought to be | secured in time to avoid cancellation of some projects.
Manpower is needed as some areas were left vacant when officers had to be transferred to very demandf^e*. places. " ^
!
• Of all the problems encountered transport is the number one problem which also affects the i headquarters staff. This is very parthetic.

There is a lot of improvement as compare to the previous year, in terms of production and income.
Colony absconsession is still a major problem with individual beekeepers.
