Identify the tooth for the current project.

# 20

Page 9: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

Mark the buccal and lingual cusp tips of # 18,19,20 and 21.

Page 10: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

Draw a vertical line from the cusp tip to the gingiva followingThe long axis of the tooth. Buccaly and lingualy.

Page 11: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

On the buccal and lingual surfaces, draw a horizontal line mesiodistallyDividing the tooth in half incisal-gingivally.

Page 12: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

Cut the tooth above the horizontal line. Make sure the proximal surface of the adjacent teeth follow a convex contour as shown.

Page 13: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

At the intersection of the vertical and horizontal lines, mark where the cusps should be and apply a layer of sticky wax.

Page 14: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

Apply die lube over the occlusal surface of the opposing arch.

Page 15: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

Build one cone for each cusp tip using yellow wax

Page 16: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

The support cusp tip contacts with opposing tooth when the articulator is closed .

Page 17: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

The support cusp tip contacts with opposing tooth when the articulator is closed .

Page 18: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

In maximum intercuspation, the support cusp occlude in an embrasure area and contact only one opposing marginal ridge.

Page 19: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

During lateral canine guided movement the cone should no contact the opposing tooth.

Canine guidance NoNo contact

Establish the occlusal table,Build marginal ridges and cusp inclines in blue wax (fish mouth).

Page 21: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

Triangular ridges are defined with red wax

Page 22: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

Place the green wax to fill the rest of the anatomy.

Page 23: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

Make sure that the width of the occlusal table is correct

Page 24: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

Use waxing powder to disclose the location of the contacts.

Page 25: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

Use shimstock to verify the strength of contacts. In maximum intercuspation.

Page 26: Dental Procedureal Endodontic Lab Manual

In excursive movements there should be no contact.
