How are the veneers fitted?

Step 1: Diagnosing followed by treatment planning- During this stage, the dentists takes x-

Step 2: Preparation- An approximately 0.3 mm layer needs to be removed from the surface

of the teeth. This is replaced with a resin/ ceramic veneer having same thickness.

Step 3: Bonding- The veneer is temporarily placed over the tooth for examining its shape,

size and colour. Next, the teeth are polished and cleaned for allowing stronger bonding

process.
