•Post diagnostic support
As of April 1, 2013, every person diagnosed with dementia is entitled to a minimum of one year of post-diagnostic support.
•Acute general health care
The chief Nursing Officer for Scotland is leading a programme of inspections into the care of elders, including those diagnosed with dementia, in acute care settings.

Our Voice!The Scottish Dementia Working Group
(SDWG) a national campaigning group, run by people with dementia. “We are the independent voice of people with dementia within Alzheimer Scotland.”
The SDWG campaigns to: 1. improve services for people with dementia 2. improve attitudes towards people with dementia.
Membership is open to people with dementia.
