About Professor Anthea Innes

Professor Anthea Innes joined BU in December 2011 as Professor of Health and Social Care Research, with a remit to develop our activity on dementia and ageing. Professor Innes joins us from the University of Stirling where she developed the first worldwide online postgraduate programme in Dementia Studies.

Professor Innes is the Director of the Bournemouth University Dementia Institute (BUDI). BUDI is working with relevant parties across the South of England to increase the quality of care and support offered to people with dementia and their families.
