Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings form the basis of their religion.
Popular customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive.

This simple activity aims to spread the happiness to the children by giving gifts and stuffs prepared by the organization of San Isidro Labrador Church during the Christmas Day. Some of the gifts given were donated by the church people and others were bought using the Church’s fund. The activity had started after the mass.
I can relate what I’ve learned from this activity to one of the models of the Church which is Participation because it is true that no one is too poor for them to give nothing and no one is too rich for them to not to receive something. It’s just all about practicing your faith that is important. Sharing happiness to someone is not only about giving extravagant gifts but it is on how you show your love for them truthfully.
Even simple things can mean a lot to someone if it has love and effort on it. Just like what the San
Isidro Church had done, many children were happy and have smiles on their faces for they know that they are loved and they are treated as special by
the church people. So let’s continue spreading happiness to everyone even it’s Christmas Day or not for our Lord, Our Savior.
Remember this: Christmas Day should
be celebrated because of Jesus Christ, Our Savior. We should pay attention to His birth and not on Santa Claus alone. It’s not bad to believe in Santa Claus for he’s been a part of our Christmas beliefs, but what we should consider and put emphasis on is Christ, the Son of God.
