Air Force Activity Code and Source of Supply (C-ICP F26) We are forwarding the attached approved administrative change to Cataloging Data and Transaction Standards, Volumes 10 and 13 for immediate implementation. The Enterprise Business Standards Office (EBSO) will post the actual implementation date of associated updates to the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) on the web once the FCC Chair/Secretariat provides the information. 3 REQUESTED CHANGE

3.1 BRIEF OVERVIEW OF CHANGE USAF requires the addition of a new Source of Supply (SoS) with Routing Identifier Code (RIC) F26 and US Air Force Materiel Management Aggregation Code (MMAC) CO for a new contractor supporting the AN/FPS-108 COBRA DANE weapon system. USAF plans to use the associated required new Major Organizational Entity (MOE) Rules and new Activity Code for all new contractors in the future.

3.2 REQUESTED CHANGE IN DETAIL

3.2.1 New Air Force Materiel Management Aggregation Code (MMAC) Cataloging Data and Transaction Standards (CDTS), Volume 10, Table 66, Air Force Materiel Management Aggregation Codes (MMAC), states the MMAC is a “two position code identifying specific items (National Stock Numbers, NSNs) to be managed by a specific manager at one of the Air Logistics Centers (ALCs), Contractor Inventory Control Points (C-ICP) or Special Cataloging Activities.”

This change approves the addition of MMAC CO, allowing USAF to identify specific NSNs supporting the AN/FPS-108 COBRA DANE weapon system. This change further approves Cataloging Activity Code (AC) SZ as the managing Contractor Inventory Control Point (C-ICP) for subject NSNs.

3.2.2 New Source of Supply (SoS) CDTS, Volume 10, Table 103, Source of Supply Codes (SOS), states that the codes “identify a specific supply and distribution organization or requisition processing point as to its Routing Identifier Code (RIC), Military Service or Governmental ownership, and location, as well as the Cataloging Activity Code (AC) when applicable.”

This change approves the addition of the Source of Supply (SoS) with Routing Identifier Code (RIC) F26 for Raytheon Company with Cataloging Activity Code (AC) SZ.

3.2.3 New Activity Code (AC) CDTS, Volume 10, Table 104, Activity Codes and Addresses for Authorized Originators, Submitters, MOE Codes, and RNAACs, states that Activity Codes “designate the activity related to the item of supply represented by the Federal Item Identification for cataloging, standardization, or other management purposes.”

This change approves the addition of Activity Code (AC) SZ with Major Organizational Entity (MOE) Code DF (Department of the Air Force) for Raytheon Co 4010 Cobra Dane Lane, Bldg 4010 Eareckson AFS, AK 99546.

3.2.4 New Major Organizational Entity (MOE) Rules CDTS, Volume 13, Chapter 6, Major Organizational Entity (MOE) Rules, states, “The MOE Rule Table, Appendix 13-6-B, reflects management responsibilities within participating Military Services, Civil Agencies, and NATO and other foreign countries. The information included in the MOE Rules is a combination of Department of Defense (DoD) and Service/Agency cataloging/supply management assignments which are made on the basis of organizational responsibilities.” MOE Rules drive business rules for what a user can and cannot do on an NSN.

This change approves the addition of two new MOE Rules FAA4 and FAA5 in which USAF is a Collaborator and Authorized Submitter and the Raytheon Company, with Activity Code SZ, is the Primary Inventory Control Activity (PICA).

3.3 REASON FOR CHANGE This change enables the new Contractor Supported Weapon System to provide assets and other support to the USAF.
