Diagnosis: clinically, aspiration of abscessTreatment: I/V Ampicillin + cloxacillin & metronidazole
Anti-inflammatory: Ibuprofen & paracetamol
Locally antiseptic mouth washIf abscess: I & D of abscess (site of drainage)If second attack: tonsillectomy.
