  • Comprehension means understanding. The answers to some questions are easy to find, while the answers to others are more difficult to work out. The best way to understand a text is to ask yourself questions as you read it.

  • Comprehension Toolkit Knowing what information is relevant to the topic of a text helps you to understand the text. In a group of fruit, the battery is the odd one out. It is not relevant to the group. Which item does not belong in this group?
