Habrá una colección especial de Adviento en nuestra parroquia. Un regalo para el niño Jesús. Consiste en un dólar al día ($ 1.00). Comenzará el 1 de diciembre. Durante la Temporada de Adviento usted reserva $ 1.00 por día para el Niño Jesús. El día de Navidad ofrecerás este regalo al niño Jesús. Los sobres están disponibles para colocar su regalo. ¡Gracias! Nadie te recibió con alegría. Te sembraste en Ella, como el grano de trigo se siembra en el surco. Y en sus brazos encontraste la cuna más hermosa. También nosotros queremos estar prepararnos así: en la fe, el amor y en el trabajo cada día. ¡Ven pronto, Señor, ven y sálvanos!

FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT

A Surprise Gift

“God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us” (Romans 5:5).

On this Sunday just before Christmas, we listen to the Gospel of the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth. Mary shows us that being comes before doing, and to leave the doing to God in order to be truly as God wants us. It is God who works so many marvels in us. Mary is receptive, but not passive. Because, on the physical level, she receives the power of the Holy Spirit and then gives flesh and blood to the Son of God who forms within her. Thus, on the spiritual level, she accepts the grace and corresponds to it with faith. As Mary was greeted by Elizabeth as “blessed among women,” so too we have always been “blessed,” that is, loved. Regarding this love, regarding this mercy, the divine grace poured into our hearts, one single thing is asked in return: unreserved giving. Not one of us can buy salvation! Salvation is a free gift of the Lord, a free gift of God that comes within us and dwells in us. As we have received freely, so are we called to give freely; imitating Mary, who, immediately upon receiving the Angel’s announcement, went to share the gift of her fruitfulness with her relative Elizabeth. In visiting her, the Virgin Mary brought not only material help but she also brought Jesus, who was already alive in her womb.

CUARTO DOMINGO DE ADVIENTO

Un regalo sorpresa "El amor de Dios ha sido derramado en nuestros corazones a través del

Espíritu Santo.que nos ha sido dado” (Romanos 5: 5). En este domingo, justo antes de Navidad, escuchamos el Evangelio de la Visitación de María a Isabel. María nos muestra que el ser viene antes de hacer, y dejar que Dios lo haga para ser verdaderamente como Dios nos quiere. Es Dios quien hace tantas maravillas en nosotros. María es receptiva, pero no pasiva. Porque, en el nivel físico, ella recibe el poder del Espíritu Santo y luego entrega carne y sangre al Hijo de Dios que se forma dentro de ella. Así, en el nivel espiritual, ella acepta la gracia y se corresponde con la fe. Cuando María recibió a Elizabeth como "bendita entre las mujeres", también nosotros siempre hemos sido "bendecidos", es decir, amados. Con respecto a este amor, con respecto a esta misericordia, la gracia divina que se derramó en nuestros corazones, una sola cosa se pide a cambio: dar sin reservas. ¡Ninguno de nosotros puede comprar la salvación! La salvación es un don gratuito del Señor, un don gratuito de Dios que viene dentro de nosotros y mora en nosotros. Como hemos recibido libremente, así somos llamados a dar libremente; imitando a Mary, quien, inmediatamente después de recibir el anuncio del ángel, fue a compartir el regalo de su fecundidad con su pariente Elizabeth. Al visitarla, la Virgen María no solo trajo ayuda material, sino que también trajo a Jesús, que ya estaba vivo en su vientre.

December 25 Our Lady of Bethlehem

The oldest avocation of the Virgin Mary is perhaps Our Lady of Bethlehem. It celebrates the Mother of the Savior in the place of his birth. This event is remembered and venerated in many churches throughout the world. The image of Mary and the Child Jesus is the greatest pictorial and sculptural theme of religious iconography. During the Reconquest and later the evangelization of America, Our Lady of Bethlehem became one of the images that was most widely spread by the religious orders. Many of the images of the Divine Motherhood of Mary were propagated thanks to the Franciscan influence; since the Mystery of Christmas has been celebrated particularly since the Franciscans disseminated the celebration. Her devotion is widespread throughout the Hispanic world, particularly in Argentina, Colombia, Spain, Guatemala, Peru, Puerto Rico and Venezuela. In these and many other countries, numerous hermitages, churches, parishes, and organizations are named after her. The Marian calendar celebrates her feast on the day of the Nativity of Our Lord; but, in different places, according to their traditions, she is also celebrated on other dates.

25 de diciembre Nuestra Señora de Belén

La más antigua advocación de la Virgen María es quizás Nuestra Señora de Belén. Esta celebra a la Madre del Salvador en el lugar de su nacimiento. Dicho acontecimiento se recuerda y se venera en multitudes de iglesias en todo el mundo. La imagen de María y el Niño Jesús es el mayor tema pictórico y escultórico de la iconografía religiosa. Durante la Reconquista y más tarde la evangelización de América, Nuestra Señora de Belén pasó a convertirse en una de las imágenes más difundidas por las órdenes religiosas. Muchas de las imágenes de la Maternidad Divina de María se propagaron gracias a la influencia franciscana; pues, el Misterio de la Navidad se ha celebrado especialmente desde que los franciscanos difundieron su culto. Su devoción está extendida por el mundo hispano, particularmente en Argentina, Colombia, España, Guatemala, Perú, Puerto Rico y Venezuela. En estos y muchos otros países, numerosas ermitas, iglesias, parroquias y organizaciones llevan su nombre. El calendario mariano celebra su fiesta en el día de la Natividad de Nuestro Señor; pero, en diversos lugares conforme a sus tradiciones, también es celebrada en otras fechas.
