3rd Mandeville Craft Festival11am, Mandeville Sports Club, 431 Mandeville Road. Featuring a wide range of top quality arts and crafts stalls, food marquee, live music plus loads of parking.

3rd Bridge to Bridge Mountain Bike or Run9am, Waimakariri River. Run or bike … take your pick on various distances for all abilities.

3rd “Garden Tour & More”10.30, 4B Millton Avenue, Rangiora. Open day at North Canterbury Riding for the Disabled followed by visit to 4 local gardens.

3rd Xmas Concert2pm, Methodist Church, King St, Rangiora. Join the Rangiora Community Choir and guests for an afternoon of Xmas carols and sing alongs.

3rd Canterbury v Otago Volts Cricket Match11am, Mainpower Oval, Coldstream. Bring your picnic blankets, sunscreen and lunch for a great day at the oval.

3rd You Me We Us Amazing Race9am, Kaiapoi North School Hall, 278 Williams St, Kaiapoi. Teams of 2 competitors race around Kaiapoi on bike and on foot completing challenges along the way.

8th Jordan Luck Band 5.30pm Gates Open. Enjoy a night of reminiscing and dancing with Jordan Luck and his band – playing all the Exponents tunes you know and love!! As an added bonus all rides and stallholders will be open on the evening too.

9th Kaiapoi Santa Parade & Carnival9am Gates Open at Murphy Park. 2pm - 3.30pm Santa Parade. 9pm Hellers Fireworks Extravaganza. Over the two days: buskers, rambling professional performers, delectable food, carnival stalls and amusement rides to entertain all.

5th - 20th Rangiora Christmas Tree Festival9am – 4.30pm daily, WDC Council Foyer. 26 beautifully decorated trees in the Council foyer – well worth a visit!

24th Sefton Christmas Harvest Market9am, 818 Marshmans Rd, Sefton. A unique Xmas Eve Farmers Market held on farm where you can get your hands dirty, digging your own new potatoes and picking your own peas.
