Stephen Ministry - God’s love in Action Don’t get lost in the tasks Jesus tells us to love one another as He has loved us. We have recently been led to study what it means to be a neighbor. Are you a Martha or a Mary? Remember Jesus admonition to Martha? Mary had chosen the important things in life. Martha was bogged down in tasks.

When you are feeling overwhelmed with tasks to accomplish, take 5 minutes, stop and center yourself, breathe deeply, and take time to remember the peace that comes from reminding oneself that Christmas is a time to celebrate Jesus’ birth.

What is a Stephen Minister? A Stephen Minister is trained layperson that provides one-to-one, confidential Christian care to hurting people in and around our congregation.

As our church becomes more active, we are seeing a growing need in our nursery & child-

care programs. Staff and volunteer positions are open for Sundays and evenings.

It’s time to be a Bible Buddy! This program is designed to mentor a 3rd grade child through

the year. The cost is $30 which supplies them with a Bible. Sign up at the check-in table.

The UMW has plain & chocolate covered pecans available. They are $10/bag.

An informational meeting for the Jungle Medic Mission trip to Guatemala will be held in

the Parlor this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Anyone interested should attend or contact

We have a member in the Dunlap area of CR 26 in need of a ride to church on Sundays.
