President's Message ...Happy Holiday Season!

I hope that everyone had a great holiday season. We had a great turnout for our annual Cioppino dinner. We raised money for fi rst responders that lost their homes in the Camp fi re. It was heart warming during this season to see how giving our families were to those that have lost so much! Again, we thank Sam Matar, one of our long- me honorary members. Sam matched our membership’s dona ons and made what we gave even more boun ful! We honored some of our deserving offi cers with awards that ranged from life-saving measures to inves ga ons that gave peace to the families that have lost family members to violent acts on the Monterey Peninsula. It is a true gi to have so many dedicated offi cer’s in Monterey County to serve while so many are trying to celebrate with their friends and family!

Please remember the Salinas Elks Lodge hosts its annual Public Safety Night on January 16th. They are great hosts, so please a end if you are able.

As always, please feel free to reach out to me with any ques ons, comments, or concerns!

Sincerely,Jus ne McMahon

Thank You for supporting the 48th Annual Golf Tournament

The Camp Fire in Butte County literally destroyed the Town of Paradise, and many Paradise and Chico Police Offi cers lost their homes and all of their possessions in the blaze, along with many Bute County Sheriff 's Deputies. Chico Chief Mike O'Brien worked to set up a Relief Fund for law enforcement families displaced by the Camp Fire. The North Valley Community Foundation Camp Fire Public Safety Family Relief Fund is now available for any member who wishes to make a contribution to help the men and women in public safety in Butte County. Those interested can donate using the link below.
