Debbie and Keith have been ap- pointed to serve in Central Mexico. They will partner with the Council of Rural Indigenous Evangelicals of Mexico (CICEM) to provide pastoral accompaniment to the indigenous churches. For a small community in the Sierra Norte of Puebla, Mexico, it encom- passes investing in a piece of prop- erty to expand a church … when they don’t have the means to buy the land. Today, their church building is land-locked in the middle of four other properties, leaving them no room to grow. A small lot adjoining the property is now for sale, and if they owned this property they would have access to the road and not need permission to pass. The leaders of the church have said yes, but they have only been able to secure the funds to put a deposit on the land.
