Day 1 - Death Valley Nat’l ParkYour journey begins as we head north across the Inland Empire in the morning, stopping briefly at Tom’s Farms before continuing on to Victorville for lunch at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. After lunch proceed to Death Valley National Park to check in for a two-night stay at The Oasis at Death Valley Ranch (formerly Furnace Creek Ranch). Originally built as a working ranch in the 1880s and later home of the famous Twenty Mule Teams, The Oasis Ranch today offers travelers a complete resort complex located in the heart of Death Valley National Park. Day 2 - Death Valley Nat’l ParkFollowing a leisurely breakfast at The 1849, head out for a day of sightseeing in this unique region. The first stop is the park’s Visitor Center, which sits 190 feet below sea level and contains exhibits and pictures of the park’s history, culture, and geological wonders. Next visit such scenic highlights as Devil’s Cornfield, the Harmony Borax Works, Ubehebe Crater, and the spectacularly sculpted Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. Return to the ranch this afternoon for an included lunch. You’ll also have the opportunity to embark on a guided tour of the beautiful Amargosa Opera House. This evening delight in a sunset cocktail hour before enjoying an included dinner at The Last Kind Words Saloon. [B, L, D]

Day 3 - Death Valley SightseeingTravel through the southern region of Death Valley National Park, and enjoy more scenic highlights as we pass through Devil’s Golf Course and Badwater Basin. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch at the 1950s-style Peggy Sue’s Diner, built in 1954 from railroad ties and mortar from the nearby Union Pacific rail yard. Afterward continue on down to San Diego with fond memories of your Death Valley Discovery. [B, L]

by calling (619) 334-3394, or toll-free from outside the greater San Diego metro area at (800) 679-8747. Telephone reservations must be followed by a $100 per person deposit within 5 days or your seat reservations are subject to release without notice.

• TRIP CANCELLATION PROTECTION: An optional Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) is available at a cost of $85-$105 per person. CPP allows you to cancel your reservation for any reason up until two hours before your scheduled departure time and receive a full refund (less the CPP fee), provided you notify DayTripper Tours by telephone of your change of plans. CPP does not pay for the single supplement of the remaining traveler when a traveling companion cancels from a double occupancy reservation.

• CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: For reservations not covered by the optional Cancellation Protection Plan, you must cancel your reservation by December 26, 2019 (first departure) or January 9, 2020 (second departure) to receive a refund, transfer or credit. A $100 processing fee will be assessed. Unused portions of the tour are non-refundable. If DayTripper Tours cancels the tour you are entitled to a full refund without penalty.
