FAS S.p.A., since its foundation in 1967, has been present in the international fire fighting market both directly or through multinationals and engineering companies for whom we are qualified and reliable suppliers. FAS S.p.A. is a direct manufacturer of different firefighting equipment among which :

1) MONITORS / NOZZLES & BRANCHPIPES We manufacture different types of monitors, manually controlled, self oscillating or remote controlled by means of electric devices, oil hydraulic or both with mixed solutions We can also offer different type of materials depending on the selected models. Our monitors can be offered in cast bronze or Anticorodal light alloy and / or welded models, from carbon steel, stainless steel 304 or stainless steel 316

NOZZLES & BRANCHPIPES for monitors

Each monitor must be equipped with a dedicated nozzle or branchpipe. The nozzle gives a full or fog jet and can be used with only water or with foam (AFFF). The water branchpipe (LA) gives only a full jet and is used exclusively with water. The foam branchpipes (LS / LSA) give a full jet of water/foam and supply a low expansion stream. Also in this case we can offer different solutions and alternatives, such as : - manual / electric or oil hydraulic water nozzles for monitors with fixed flow rates from 500 lpm to 6000 lpm - manual water foam nozzles (self-inducing type) for monitors with fixed flow rates from 1000 lpm to 6000 lpm - water or water foam or water foam self-inducing branchpipes with fixed flow rates from 1000 lpm to 15000 lpm

2) TRAILERS FAS S.p.A. can offer many types of trailers with different dimensions and equipped with various accessories for an easy and fast first response to fire , equipped with foam tank – foam inductor, hoses and foam makers.

Monitors of different flow rates can also be positioned on a mobile device for an effective and fast response from a distance.

3) TOWERS FOR MONITORS A monitor can also be positioned on an elevated position, from 3 mt. to 25 mt.. FAS S.p.A. is a direct manufacturer of these towers, that can be produced with fixed platforms (Model TF) or with rotating platforms (Model TG). Usually, when positioned on a tower, the monitors are remote controlled type (electric – oil hydraulic or both) and controlled from a distance by means of dedicated control panels.

4) BLADDER TANKS The expanded foam is a combination of water, foam liquid in a pre-defined percentage (usually 3% or 6%) and air. The best and safer equipment to mix water and foam liquid is the bladder tank, a ASME carbon steel tank equipped with an internal bladder to allow foam separation. FAS S.p.A. can offer different types of bladder tanks with various capacities, from 200 to 12000 liters, with foam liquid inside the bladder (FAS models “FI” for vertical type or “HI” for horizontal type) or outside the bladder (FAS Model “F” for vertical type or “H” for horizontal type).

5) FAS S.p.A. FOAM MAKERS Depending on the quantity of air added to the water/foam mixture, it is possible to obtain the following type of foam expansion ;

A) Low expansion foam 1:20 B) Medium expansion foam 1:200 C) High expansion foam 1:800 / 1:1000

7) FAS S.p.A. HOSE REELS

Another standard equipment we manufacture are the hose reels. We produce different types of this product; water – foam – powder – steam.
