February 2016 Dear Pastor and Church Family, Greetings from the deputation trail. It is hard to believe that February is already upon us! We are so excited to watch the Lord who called us provide for our needs and open doors. Last month we had the privilege to present our ministry at churches located in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi. We were blessed to learn of two churches that recently added us to their missions family. This places our support level at 28%! Seollal (설날), or the Lunar New Year as it is known in English, is one of the most celebrated holidays in Korea. For many people this holiday is more of a new beginning than January 1st. A large number of Koreans travel to their hometowns and spend three days with their families. Special foods are eaten and there is a festive mood prevailing as ancient traditions are observed. Most people are earnestly hoping for a good year. I remember visiting the chief temple of Korean Buddhism in Seoul during the Lunar New Year celebration last February. It was very sobering to see many Korean people blinded by the false teachings of Mahayana Buddhism. I watched as hundreds came to perform their oblations, hoping for blessings in the new year. These people have a tremendous need to be personally engaged with the truth and hope of Christ's Gospel. It is our earnest desire to quickly return to Korea and begin fervently communicating the Gospel to Koreans who will spend eternity in fiery torment unless they are genuinely born again. Please continue to pray that we can expediently return to Korea in the Lord's time. Last Saturday, Sarah and I were able to go out and do some personal witnessing near our home base in Alabama. It was a great blessing to see the Lord use us to present the Gospel to three young men. They listened intently even though we were standing outside in below freezing weather. We praise the Lord that all three made a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray that they would come to church and grow in the Lord. Thank you very much for your prayer and financial support! We are so grateful for your partnership. In Christ,

Dear Pastor and Church Family,

Greetings from the deputation trail.

I remember visiting the chief temple of Korean Buddhism in Seoul during the

Lunar New Year celebration last February.
