Attendance

Overall school attendance still remains at 94.7%.

Congratulations to class 4D who maintain their 1st place position for the highest overall school attendance at 96.8% . 5B have again moved back into second position at 96.5% now closely followed by 3T at 96.3%. Will Miss Dunne and 4D maintain their lead and win the Class Attendance Cup next week?

In the penultimate week of the March Attendance challenge we have a new lead with class 5H at 97.5% and 3T only 0.3% behind with both classes aiming to win their second iPad. A special mention to class R2N who are still in the top 6 attending classes in the March challenge.

2W have chosen “Finding Dory” and class 1T have chosen “Big Hero 6” for their DVD and popcorn treat and they will be enjoying watching their films next week.

Class 5W have been set a task to promote their class attendance which was struggling at 94.1%. In just two weeks this has improved by 0.3% so keep us this fantastic effort. If their attendance continues to rise, every pupil who has contributed to the success and has achieved 96% or above will receive a special Easter treat.

Just a reminder….children that receive a yellow/orange catch up card need to come to Room 101 at break time alongwith some work to complete. Many thanks for your support with this as we have seen a dramatic reduction in the number of children arriving late into school.

Star Learning Zone This week’s winners of the Learning Star Zone is 2W well done! Pupils achieve Star Zone for demonstrating exceptional learning skills or behaviours. They will be given a certificate and STAR pupil for that week is selected from each class and awarded a certificate in assembly. Each week the class achieving the highest number of star zone pupils will receive the Star Zone cup and be added to the Winners board by the main office. A prize will be issued to the class that wins this the most in each term. Well done!
