resources for the data center were extremely costly, they were concerned with the physical footprint of their data center as well as the costs associated to the power and cooling.

Insight solution The client asked for Insight’s assistance with virtualization. Insight went on-site and provided a consolidation assessment, which included virtualizing their data center. The assessment encompassed the complete lifecycle approach of assessment, planning and design, deploying and debriefing. This included implementing VDI and placing two full-time on-site employees to assist in maintaining their virtual environment. This solution decreased high maintenance costs, power and cooling costs and resources dedicated to maintaining the environment.
