1 The field is hereby informed that the Caraga Region shall be hosting the National Seminar-Workshop on the Preparation of CY 2014 Mid-Year Financial Reports on July 21-25, 2014 inButuan City.

2. Anent to this , the Division of Agusan del Sur is mandated by the Regional Office to prepare forthe token and lei of the 175 participants nationwide which expenses shall be charged againstlocal funds.

3. Wide and immediate dissemination and strict compliance of this Memorandum is greatly desired.

1. The National Seminar/Workshop on the Preparation of CY 2014 Mid-Year FinancialReports will be held on July 21-25, 2014 at (venue be announce later) Butuan City.

The objectives of the seminar are to:

the preparation, reconciliation and submission of Mid-Year Financial

Reports;Discuss the uniform implementation of procedures and policies;Serve as an avenue where knowledge, experience and ideas can come together andbe shared among those involved in the management of financial resources forefficient implementation of DepEd programsand projectswith the oversight agenciesand other invited resource speakers; and guests; andAddress related financial issues.

The participants are the Regional Finance Officers, Regional Accountants, BudgetOfficers and other Two(2) finance staff who will assist in the preparation of financialreports as authorized by the Region Director, selected participants from Central Office;Accountants of Attached Agencies; Resource Persons from DepEd Central Office,Commission on Audit (COA) and Department of Budget and Management(DBM).

A registration fee of Six Thousand (P 6, 000. 00) shall be charged from each participantto cover payment of the board and lodging. If paid thru check, it should be drawn infavor DECSRO TRUST FUND. DBP Account No. 0805-019642-030.

Traveling expenses and registration fee of the participants shall be charged against theirrespective local funds (Regional, OSEC, Bureaus, Centers, etc.).

The participants are instructed to bring their laptops and all pertinent documentsnecessary in the reconciliation of accounts, preparation of the trial balance, schedulesand other financial statements/reports. At the end of the workshop, all are expected tosubmit their respective outputs to Mr. Dakila Nadua/Ma. Luisa Elizes of Consolidated(Financial) Reporting and other concerns unit.

7. The regional working committees relative to the conduct of the national seminar/workshopare found in the Inclosure and will have an orientation of their functionjon July 16, 2014 atFunction Room 1, TDC, DepEd Regional Office, Butuan City.

8. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum to all concerned is highly desired.
