“Jameson Camp taught us how to interact with each other and work as a team. It was really fun!”

Page 5 VOLUME 1, ISSUE 3

Jameson Camp is a non-profit organization that provides outdoor education and team building activities. Miss. Betsy’s class had the opportunity to participate in a team-building day where they completed challenge courses that required students to work together as a team. They also did a trust walk activity and discussed the importance of work-ing together and trusting each other in the real world. Jameson Camp is a fun outing that our students enjoy eve-ry year.

On October 31, many of the children and staff members of DCA celebrated Halloween by dressing up in costumes and getting their faces painted. Sev-eral classrooms had parties with lots of goodies! Mario & Luigi, King of In-sects, Bat Woman, Iron Man, Candy Corn Witch, a Zombie, Car Wash Cus-todian, Business Man, Super Woman, Spider-Man, etc were spotted during the day! Everyone enjoyed them-selves! Special thanks to Ashley L. for painting faces, you did a wonderful job!
