Presentation of the electric car Tesla Roadster

Vision and future of sustainable mobility – are we facing the radical change in automo

tive sector development? December 5, 2013

12.00 – 13.30 Mayor part of our modern reality was created in the XIX and XX century by Nikola Tesla, who is the

author of 300 patents and 125 inventions such as fluorescent lamps, electric motor, radio, and solar

panels. No wonder that the name of this famous inventor served as a brand for ultra-modern, electric

cars produced in California in the United States.

In 2008, the latest model of a fully electric car - the Tesla Roadster entered the world market. The

Tesla Roadster accelerates to a hundred km/h in 3.9 seconds and can move up to 201 km/h. The car is

able to drive over 350 kilometers on a single charge. Body of the car is manufactured in the UK, and

then gets to the USA, where it is equipped with drive and control systems.
