The UHP-HV® (Ultra High Pressure-High Volume) module offers the best of both worlds for the wildland-urban interface. Darley has combined ourversatile direct-drive 2BE pump and the CAT 7CP highpressure piston pump to meet all your firefightingneeds in one compact package. Main pump can beused for water transfer or for 11/2" hose for structuralattacks while the belt driven CAT can produce low flowhigh pressure flows in excess of 1300 psi with optionalfoam through the 1/2" HP hose. The system is nowavailable in both gasoline and diesel-powered versions. The diesel boasts a 24.5 HP Kubota water-cooled engine.

Panel includes a mechanical bypass so in the unlikely event the PLC were to fail, the system would default to a mechanical pressure switch control, allowing for the primary pump to start in the event of a pressure drop. The mechanical bypass includes minimum run timer, so in the event pressure recovers, the pump can still shut itself down after 3 minutes of running under recovered pressure conditions.
