All of our veggies and herbs will be grown without pesticides - using only sustainabletechniques, and farming alongside Interstate 80/94 within 40 minutes from Chicago'sLoop and surrounding areas enables fast farm to fork delivery, which means the besttaste and nutrition for our customers. It also means less fuel consumption for shippingbecause our market is only minutes from the farm. Most all of the energy requirementsof the greenhouse will be supplied by renewable sources such as geothermal heatingand cooling and wind energy, more ways the farm conserves resources and keeps theair clean and healthy. Growing local in Lansing helps create a cleaner distribution effort.
