*That’s the Bible – the Word of God.

* B. Where thy flocks rest

*In the New Testament this would be the local church.

* C. I want to be there too 

*There are some other shepherds in the world. She is looking to join up with this shepherd’s flock.

*A. You know these answers by knowing the Shepherd

*The church is to be made up only of saved and scripturally baptized members.

*B. The shepherd loves her even while she is outside his flock

*The Song is describing Christ’s love for us – even before our salvation.

*She is dreaming of what could be and what we know will eventually be. But right now – she is not his.
