Kurzbeschreibung der Veranstaltung:Die Frderinitiative IMC - India meets Classic wurde 2005 (in Hamburg) ins Leben gerufen. Im Frhjahr 2006startete das monatliche Radioprogramm zur indischen Kultur. ( http://www.imcradio.net/shortprofile). Seit 2011

werden die Sendungen in sterreich, in der Schweiz und in Deutschland ausgestrahlt(http://www.imcradio.net/broadcasting/cet). Bisher wurden mehr als 100 Sendestunden produziert. Mit dem in2012 gegrndeten SABN (South Asian Broadcasting Network) erreicht man fr die India Week auch eininternationales Publikum (http://www.imcradio.net/sabn). Die INDIA WEEK 2013 wird mit diversen "specialfeatures" begleitet.

Brief description of event (English translation):The promotion initiative IMC - India meets Classic was founded in 2005 (in Hanseatic City Hamburg). In 2006 itstarted its monthly radio broadcasting for Indian culture ( http://www.imcradio.net/shortprofile ). Since 2011 theradio shows are broadcasted in Austria, Switzerland and Germany ( http://www.imcradio.net/broadcasting/est).Till today more than 100 broadcasting hours have been produced. In 2012 was set up the SABN (South AsianBroadcasting Network) to expand the media coverage for an international audience(http://www.imcradio.net/sabn). The INDIA WEEK 2013 will be presented with some special features.
