2 Saaol Times, April, 2017

A new nancial year starts for all of us in India from this month. There are a lot of news that we would like to share with you. Last month our second centre in Mumbai started in Borivli and it will cater to a huge population of the second biggest city of India. Dr. Chhajer will be consulting with his patients

thin this centre on 19 April,2017. Two more centres are coming up in Delhi NCR (National Capital Region) this month – one in Dwarka and the second one in Faridabad. This will make seven centres of Saaol in Delhi. These two canters will almost complete our spread across Delhi NCR geographically. Two more centres are planned for t h e m o n t h o f M a y, 2 0 1 7 – Chandigarh and Haridwar. This will be our second centre in Uttarakhand and Third centre in Punjab. Another not so good news to share is that Dr. Chhajer developed a small nodule in his vocal cord and

had a small operation last month. He had to take a voice rest for three weeks after the operation. He is now alright and started his consultations in Delhi and Kolkata from 1st April,2017. The talks and Camp in Kolkata in April had to be cancelled for this reason. The Good news was t ha t t he B iopsy showed no malignancy and with your good wishes and God's blessing he is ne now. However, the ENT doctors advised him to restrict his long talks and distribute his talking jobs. We now plan more one day camps of Dr. Chhajer and spread his videos to carry on his mission of lifestyle based treatment of heart disease and non invasive care. In another new addition to serve the heart patients who have joined Saaol in the last two decades and those who will follow Saaol in Future we have planned a 24 hour Cardiac help line round the year. Saaol members have always asked us about who to consult at the time

Heart Centre and give your complete medical records so that our Delhi head ofce have all your medical details for any future reference. You will also get a password through which you also can access your medical history online 24X7. As soon as we are ready with the complete set up we shall get back to you. You should be happy to know that Saaol has now become a very popular way of treating heart disease non invasively. It has now become a brand in itself. The videos of Dr. Chhajer has become viral and visits to our website is increasing day by day. The mouth to mouth spread is now reached a peak and we are not able to handle the load in many centres. The Zero oil cooking, E C P / N a t u r a l B y p a s s , BCA/Biochemical Angioplasty is gradually becoming mainstream treatment. Thousands of our patients have now completed twenty years with us. They are our ambassadors.

of emergency or whenever they have some problem in odd hours. They wanted us to have a helpline for them where they can get a genuine advice for any heart related problem or health problem. In the next two months we shall open a new center in our head ofce which will deliver this unique service. You will be now able to talk directly to our medical team online, telephonic call, whats app chat or video chat 24x7. This may be for any health problem – be it high or low blood pressure, low or high b l o o d s u g a r, c h e s t p a i n o r b rea th lessness , vomi t ing or abdominal pain. We also start our efforts to afliate local cardiac experts with Saaol where you can go and get treated locally in Saaol's line of management, thus avoiding unnecessary admissions and Bypass surgery or Angioplasty. For one year the registration fees will be about Rs. 3000. All you need to do is to go the local Saaol

Do not interpret Negatively

There is regular disruption of electric supply in the city/town, we can install an inverter. One road is always over crowded, we can choose a parallel road to reach our dest inat ion. There is lot of pollution –we can put a mask. Where ever it is possible – we should try to modify “what is Happening”. This may cut down same part of the stress production.

Many a times avoiding can be a good strategy. We have a relation who is very difcult – just try to avoid him or her. Some particular thing (like seeing horror movie, ghting in boxing) I do not like, it can be avoided. Delhi is very hot in Summer – so we plan a holiday in the hills during the summer.

Many things we can not modify or avoid. We have no other option than accepting it. Stressful nature of spouse , d i fcul t ne ighbour, children with different views about lifeare some of the examples where w e n e e d t o a c c e p t . Tr a f c congestions in your city, political party which we do like, religious functions which we do not like can also be accepted. These may reduce the production of stress

There are few things in life which may not make a lot of difference in our life, but they cause stress. Such things can be ignored. One example

Modify i s there i s a quarre l in the neighbourhood, relation's home. If we interfere , it may invite stress in our life. If we ignore, refuse to interfere, stress production can be avoided. Your grown up son wants to wear a particular dress, visit a party, buy a particular car with his money. You do not like, but it is better not to interfere or ignore.

T h e r e a r e m a n y t h e o r i e s , equipment, gadgets, customs we come to know for the rst time. Before rejecting it out rightly we s h o u l d t r y t o t a k e d e t a i l s , understand the novelty in a positive way before rejecting it. We are travelling in a car and want to travel in a particular route. Son sees a Google map and suggests that we should take a different route. Before saying no, at least have a look into the new route he wants to suggest. I want to buy a smart phone, and selected one, but my daughter suggests another which she says is better. I should not reject her suggestion , and ask questions and look positively at the answers and nalise the deal. So, we can see production of stress can be reduced or stopped in most of the occasions if we learn the way stress is produced in our life. Life will go on for every one of us. Producing or not producing stress is in our hand.

Symptoms of Stress In the last issue we

have discussed about the

What to do about the happenings and Realities around us?

5. Ignore.6. Do not interpret Negatively. The weather changes around us – sometime it will be very hot,

sometime very cold, sometime it rains heavily. The trains in India mostly run late. People break the t ra fc ru les . There i s over population in Delhi. Internet speed is slow and undependable in India, even electricity supply is erratic. These may denitely create stress. But if we identify these in advance, stress will be less.

Most of the happenings around us are not under our control. So, they can not be changed. But some of them can be changed, some can be modied. Some can be

just Identied and understood. Some can be avoided and some can be accepted. So, the rules for theHappenings around us are the following:1. Identify.2. Modify.3. Accept.4. Avoid.

difference of thinking will be justied. The stress from them will immediately go down. T h e t h i r d t h i n g i s A d j u s t m e n t , a c c e p t t h e difference. It can be called Give and take. Two people are staying together – each have a different Mind set. Differences will always

surface. But still we want to stay t o g e t h e r – s o w e n e e d t o accommodate, adjust. Stress production will go down.So, Three very Important things: 1. Change with time2. Understand others Mind set3. Give and take.

and Shirts. If I change my Mind set according to time and accept, stress will not be produced. Second is understanding the Mind set of your partner, close friends, relatives, colleagues. We stay with these people. They also have their Mind set, likes and dislikes. These may not be exactly matching with our Mind set. Something I like, may not be liked by them. Thus the language they speak; the clothes they wear; the values they have about time, money, responsibilities; the likes of food may not be same as we have. Since we want to live with them, we want them around – we must also understand their Mindset. The

Few important reasons are there about What’s the need to change ourselves or our Mind set. First is that the time is changing – fashion, culture, thinking, values are changing. We should also change to accommodate these changes in our Mind set. For example, I do not like my son wearing low waist Jean pant; but he likes to wear it. Once I realised that this is a fashion amongst the young generation – I started accepting it. The product ion went down immediately. The daughter in laws used to wear Saris – I developed my Mind set like that. But my daughter in law is a working educated lady – she prefers Pants

How to cut down the Production of Stress?

Three things we can modify in the stress production process – modify the happenings or reality; change the Mind set (your likes and dislikes) or both. The aim will be to match both of them. The more they match, the less will be the stress

production. Out of these two items to change – changing the Mind set is mostly under us, our brain. We can change them more easily. But Changing the outside happenings are not always possible.

stress has come. But you match and nd out that you do not like him – your mind becomes stresses, angry. It is the degree of matching which determines whether you will get Stress or not. Every happening around us (Realities) can make us stressed or not.

Everyday more than 50,000 new facts/happenings are being reported to the trained Mind by our sense organs – we match and see if we like it or not; Immediately different grades of stress or happiness results. Someone has come to your home – your mind set likes him, you will be happy. No

I am Sanjay Kumar, Son of Late Ram Chandra Singh and am residing in Kolkata. In March 2014 I developed a Chest pain, for which I went to Apollo Hospital for check up. They performed an Angiography which showed three blocks – LAD 80%,RCA 100% and LCx 80%. They wanted me to undertake an immediate Bypass Surgery and told me without that my life is under heavy risk. I was in double minds, but suddenly my inner mind said “no” and I told them that I do not have money for the surgery. They discharged me and asked me to come back as soon as I arrange the money. After 4-5 days one of my relatives informed me about Dr. Chhajer. I then attended his 2 day's camp in Kolkata. In this camp Dr. Chhajer explained how the heart disease comes and how to prevent and reverse heart disease. In this camp he also explained about ECP and BCA treatment.

I immediately decided that I will go to Delhi, which is the head ofce of Saaol to complete these treatments. Then I went to Delhi and stayed there for 40 days where I undertook 35 sittings of ECP and 20 infusion of BCA(Bio Chemical Angioplasty). I felt much better within a few weeks . I also followed all the lifestyle advices of Saaol and whatever I learnt about food from the camp. I used to do lipid prole regularly and went for check ups from Dr. Chhajer. Gradually my medicines went down. Then Dr. Bimal Chhajer asked me to do a TMT, which showed “Negative”. I could run on the machine and there was no problem. I am so happy, and I would say that Dr. Chhajer is like God for me. I thank him again and again. My advice and request to the heart patients is that “ a v o i d B y p a s s S u rg e r y a n d Angioplasty and go for Saaol Treatment.

Production of Stress

How and what’s the need to change Mindset?

I was told to go for bypass surgery with blockages LAD=80%, LCX=80% & RCA=100 and positive TMT but i prefer to go for SAAOL’s ECP & BCA treatment and my TMT is negative now.

Whenever we get stressed two factors work together – What I want and What is happening? What I want can be called our “Mind set” and What is happening can be called “ Reality”. If they match with each other there will be no stress production. In fact it will lead to opposite of stress – Happiness. The problem only happens when they do not match, they are opposite to each other – then stress is produced. If we can understand

this process of stress production and somehow try to match these two – Mind set and Reality much of our stress will not be produced at all. Those who “understand” every aspect of Reality and the reasons behind it; and then they m o d i f y t h e i r M i n d s e t t o “appreciate” this Reality are called “People with Wisdom”. The degree of this wisdom depends on the degree of this “understanding and appreciation”.

How stress is produced and How to reduce its Production?

How many times we match “Mindset” and “Reality” ?

From the time we get up from our sleep in the morning till we go to sleep in the night we probably keep on matching these two things 50,000 times every day. Happenings or realities will come every minute as the day passes on and we keep on matching them with “What I want”. It may be what time We get up, what is the weather, How is the taste of the tea being served, What is the food being served in the breakfast, What does the newspaper say, Whether the maid has come, Whether the children are delayed for the school, Some phone calls coming… These are all realities. They keep on

happening throughout the day. Thousands of happenings! But we try to match all these happenings with “What I want” or “Mind set”. This Mind set depends on our experience of past, our learning, our attitude, our bringing up, our education, our p a r e n t s a n d t e a c h e r s , o u r interpretations in the learning process. Every time we match – the degree of matching will nally whether it will be stress or happiness. It will also determine the amount of s t ress being produced.

What is Mind set?

of two parts – Body and the Mind. Human System is made up

The body performs all the duties according to the mind. Our actions come from our hands, legs, our speech – these are the action organs or output organs of the body. But it is the mind who issue all the instructions to the body. This mind resides inside the brain. Mind is basically “brain after training”. In the language of computer – brain is the hardware and “Training” is the software, which is getting updated every now and then. But before the action by the

body our mind has to receive information from outside about the happenings. This information input is done by our ve sense organs – mainly the eyes and ears – who continuously tell brain about “What is happening” or Realities. A s s o o n a s e v e r y information reaches the brain - mind processes it, matches it with Mind set. If they match – if mind likes this information(based on its training)– happiness comes. If the mind dislikes – stress comes.

How does Mindset develop?

When we are born, our mind remains blank. As we grow our brain keeps on feeding itself with i n f o r m a t i o n – language, What is e y e s , e a r e t c . , R e l a t i o n s h i p s , History, Geography, Mathematics. This can be called training of the brain. As we grow more, the brain has already decided w h a t l i l i k e s , dislikes; attitude is formed, e x p e c t a t i o n s , responsibilities, religion etc. are set into mind. This can be called our Mind set. This is now trained mind. Though it keeps on changing or updating the main structure or base remains xed. Decision has already been taken about what is

good and not good by this nd – Mind set is formed. Now whatever is happening

around us (called Happenings or Reality) – fresh informationreaches the brain; Mind set analyses it and matches it with past learning. If it matches Happiness comes and if it does not Stress comes.
