Dark night, dark light, Dark goblins, dark fright. Then morning comes, bright light appears, And takes away our darkest fears. Then morning comes, with light and song, And helps our gentle selves along. Bright light, daylight, Sweet selves, just right! Dear Parents and Teachers: I strongly believe that Halloween gives our children the tools they need to battle strong imaginary fears. In Church history All Hallows Eve is the night before All Saints Day. It recognizes that we all are afraid of things that go bump in the night, but the breaking of day, and the inbreaking of light always follow. This, I think, is an important message.
