• The cone is part of a huge cloud of hydrogen and minute of solid particles.

• Within this cloud some stars are formed, with some totally hidden within the dense matter.

• These totally hidden stars can be found with special infra red techniques which are able to past through the obstruction.

• This nebula was first described by Sir John Herschel in 1838. He saw in the upper part of the picture extended from the south a circular shell which was visible and formed a keyhole shaped nebula.

• The tiny orange nebula on the left, is known as Homunculus nebula.

• It’s noticed that this nebula has incased itself in a cocoon of obscuring matter since the year of Sir John Herschel.

• This nebula is found between the southern cross and the and the rich Carina region of the Centaurus.

• ‘Bok Globules’ are small dark clouds against a bright background.

• These nebulas thought to be possible star formations are named for Dutch-American astronomer who was the first to make people aware to them.

• Even thought these markings are discrete, there is enough material to make several star masses to size of the sun.

• These Cometary globules are isolated small clouds of dust and gas found in the Milky Way.

• This picture of a globule could create several sun sized stars.

• It glows because it is illuminate by light from hot stars located nearby.

• This globules seems to be swallowing the small side on view of a galaxy but in reality the globules is million of light years away.
