Dark Knight is an incredibly well equipped 30’ cruiser stern narrowboat which feels far larger due to the clever use of space. She was built in 2015 by Clear Water Boats and has been with her present owner since new. The galley is entered from the 6’ cruiser stern deck (with two gas lockers). On the port side there is all the equipment that you need for cooking on board including a sink, fridge, dual hob, duplex oven and grill and a microwave. There is a Zanussi washing machine sitting beneath the worktops. On the starboard side is a two seater dinette. This provides useful storage underneath but also converts into an additional single berth. Next on the starboard side is the bathroom which is a wet room arrangement. This contains the shower (with curtain), the Thetford cassette loo and a fold down basin. At 3’ 10” this is a reasonable size and works well on a boat of this length.The main living area (14’ 6” in length)provides a combined saloon and bedroom (the bed could be curtained off if required for additional privacy). The bed sits in the bow across the whole width of the boat and is huge (6’ x 5’ 10”). There is plenty of storage underneath together with a Shoreline mini-chest freezer. The saloon area also includes a comfortable two seater sofa, a 22” TV with sound bar, a multi fuel stove and even a magazine rack!The engine is a Barrus Shanks 30hp, heating is provided by either the multi-fuel stove or the Propex gas high output blown air heater (with timer). She has 300w solar, a Mastervolt combined battery charger and inverter (the four batteries are all 110ah), a galvanic isolator and an intruder & fire SMS alarm systemShe is a lovey boat and is better equipped than many larger vessels. She really does have everything you need whether you are looking for a cosy live aboard or a fun weekend boat.
